Quirky and a Little Twisted

Swedish artist John Rasimus has made a plethora of small color pencil drawings which he uses to then create a life-size cut-out- painting. He has an interesting array of books on his desk, which mostly deal with events, photos, and illustrations from pre WWII 20th Century, especially the 20s and 30s. He seems to imitate an earlier drawing style as well, but the sort of innocence we imagine in those old pictures is then slightly warped in his work. It's not exactly shock-art, but just twisted enough to be a little disturbing, but really funny.
