These are 3 of 8 lead reliefs, which were shown by themselves at the September 21st-October 4 exhition. Casting lead is a long process and took a while to learn. One of the models also contains a uranium ore sample. Uranium deteriorates through a long list of radioactive elements before attaining stability as Lead. This has always interested me, since Lead is one of the most effective barriers against radiation. Be encapsulating the ore sample within the lead, and the lead within plaster and resin, there are several barriers to multiple layers of raiation.
