New Hutchinson Installation

Yes, this is the one year anniversary of Hutchinson Island Sculpture Park! The major work accomplished is this hanging piece. We had a lot of newcomers, who were excited about the prospect of more regular events. The BBQ and campfire always helps attract people. We had a great time, check it out.

Installation

Yes, the workers all wore their red uniforms for easy off-road identification. Here's the major work we installed- an assemblage of baby-blue detritus inside a wooden frame, perhaps a tribute to the sky, and Tony Craig.

Carlos

Carlos revamped Brienna's balls which had been slowly rolling down a gulley. Looks cool hey?

Teddy is a really brave man. Not only does he climb trees to install sculptures on his first trip, he drinks out of a beer-coozy that he found on the shore!

99.9% of a drawing

This work was also accompanied by a video of my hands tearing the piece of paper, until it was too small and the last little bit was thrown out.

Review

This is how my installation looked for my review committee Friday. I managed to pass. The podium thing is the control panel with a measuring device like a slide rule and electronic controls like timers and dimmers- I will continue to add to it. There was also video (Fossilized Clam- Long Dead, audio (Litvinenko, Litvinenko- with the finished drawing), a Vacuum Inflatable Half-Life Model, a radiographic experiment- yeah lots of stuff! let me know what you guys like!
