Barry Leva at Mary Boone

Leva's work for this show is sort of like a floor plan/ blueprint. It consists of objects which are arranged geometrically, calling attention to how the space is divided up- passages, etc.

Dave,

I worked for/with Le Va on an installation he did at Danese Gallery a few years back. His thoughts on sculpture and envrionments are interesting, and his older work--the scatter pieces--were truly radical. I'm glad you got to see that exhibition, and I'm a little surprised he's with Boone now.
