Full swing

Sunday the artists arrived. They seemed to settle in quickly and have finished clamoring for me to build tables, hang lights, help with materials- for the most part anyway! Now I've got two weeks of free meals! So far I have to describe the atmoshpere as really friendly, with most people genuinely interested in what the next are doing, so there's lots of interspersed mingling. I have included a picture of the mess-hall and the first panel discussion (Mon Night) which was on "politics and democracy" in curating and featured curators from Artistsspace, New Museum of Contemporary art, artist Marsha Pels, and a curator from the Brooklyn Museum.
